A Wonderful Thank You and Update

June 1st, 2022 was when The Trials of Ashmount launched (both eBook and paperback versions). It's been less than 5 months and already there are ALMOST one thousand copies of the book out around the globe. I'm flabbergasted, stunned, and so thankful to everyone who has supported my journey thus far.

When I first published, I figured it'd take multiple books published to get into the 4 digit numbers. My goal on June 1st was to sell 400 books in a year - well, that was quickly surpassed. Now my goal is hoping to hit 1500 copies out by next June.

The book community, specifically on Twitter and YouTube, has been absolutely amazing at getting my books out there. There's been so much interest, and I can't thank everyone enough. I can't wait to see where this journey continues, and now it's looking like making my dream a reality is a possibility - writing for a living.

Now for the update...

I've just ordered the proof copy of the hardcover version of The Trials of Ashmount, and the tentative release window is sometime in November. This is strictly dependent on if there are/aren't any issues with the proof copies. From what I can tell, it doesn't appear as if there will be.

Buzzard's Bowl, book two in the Tragedy of Cedain series, is due back to me any day now. November will mostly be working on editing that book, I'm sure.

I'm also almost done writing the short stories for the anthology which is also set in the world of Cedain. The title for this is currently Before the EndA Collection of Cedain Shorts, or something similar. I'm undecided on the part that comes after the colon. Or if there will be anything. I really haven't given it much thought. The hope is that Before the End will release sometime this year. Originally I was hoping to release both that and Buzzard's Bowl, but I don't think that's going to be happening. We shall see, but seeing as I haven't edited it yet, don't have the cover art, and it's almost November... it's not looking super promising.

Well, I think that's about all. Once again, thank you to everyone who has supported me, thank you to my readers/fans, and thank you to the reviewers. Becoming friends with you has been amazing. I love you all.
